The elevator guide rail coplanarity laser calibrator is a portable precision measurement instrument that provides a new and high-precision detection method for elevator guide rail coplanarity. During elevator installation and construction, the installation and calibration of guide rails can be quickly completed.
Its characteristic is to provide a laser beam parallel to the reference plane of the guide rail. Replacing traditional tools such as alignment gauge.

The instrument is easy to operate and intuitive, making it a powerful tool for elevator installation, renovation, and testing.
Place the mounting surface of the laser transmitter (i.e. the side with magnets ) against the side working surface of one guide rail, so that the three magnets are tightly attached to the side working surface of the measured guide rail. And attach the target ruler to the opposite guide rail, as shown in Figure 1.
Turn on the power switch, the laser beam is directed towards the opposite guide rail, adjust the target ruler to hit the laser beam on the scale of ruler. Adjust the measured guide rail to hit the laser spot on the zero scale line.
Note: The mounting surface of the laser transmitter and the mounting surface of the target ruler must be on the same side of the guide rail.
Swap the positions of the laser transmitter and the target ruler and adjust the other guide rail according to the above method, as shown in Figure 2. Through two or more adjustments, the corresponding working surfaces of the two guide rails are coplanar, indicating that the guide rails are not twisted.
